The Furlongs believe strongly in supporting the community that supports them and they are active volunteers with the Oakdale Business Association, North St. Paul Park and Recreation Program, the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club, Scouting and area youth athletics.

They are committed to a "hands-on" approach to their business and have grown their store from its original size of 900 square feet in 1987 to its current size of over 4,000 square feet.
