Our opening act is imported in from Italy. It is the Tommasi Viticoltori Pinot Grigio. The Tommasi family has planted a vineyard composed entirely of Pinot Grigio grapes, in the heart of its newest fields in the Valpolicella Classica region. Called ‘Le Rosse’, its vines have been subjected to close planting and the severest pruning, resulting in an extremely low yield of extraordinary richness. This wine is 100% Pinot Grigio. Beautiful, light golden color. This wine is clean and spicy—with hints of tropical fruits. Slightly sweet on the tongue with a crisp finish. You are going to like this one!! Will pair excellent on New Year’s Eve with grilled crab legs, lobster or port wine cheese/crackers. Retails for $12.99/bottle.

Our next act is also brought to you from Italy. It is the Casa Di Rocco Chianti Classico Riserva. This fine wine is aged 24 months in Slavonian casks to add a tannic touch to balance the high acid of the Sangiovese grape. Uniquely 100% Sangiovese, grapes are grown on vines as old as 30 years for a rich, rarified taste of the Tuscan heartland. Designation: Chianti DOCG, Riserva. Vintage: 1999.
The Wine Advocate’s Robert Parker rates the 1999 vintage a ’94’ for Chianti. Taste for yourself!!
Lots of dark fruit—layered with blackberries and toasty oak from oak aging. Slightly dry—soft on the palate. This one is full of character. The oak aging brings a richness to stand up to most meats and heavier pasta dishes. It also compliments aged hard Italian cheeses. Retails for $18.99/bottle.
