Fried Ravioli Olive Oil—used for frying 1 cup buttermilk 2 cup Italian-style bread crumbs 1 package store bought cheese ravioli (about 24) 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan 1 jar marinara sauce (store bought) - heated Pour oil in large fry pan (about 2 inches deep). Heat the oil over medium heat until oil reaches 325 degrees. Put the buttermilk and bread crumbs in separate shallow bowls. Dip ravioli in buttermilk to coat completely. Then coat with the bread crumbs. Place on baking sheet and continue until all coated. In batches, cook the ravioli until golden brown, turning occasionally—about 3 minutes. Drain on a paper towel. Sprinkle with the grated parmesan cheese and serve with the warmed marinara sauce.
