Text Box: 3/4 cup Miracle Whip 5 Avocado’s (soft) peeled, coarsely mashed. 1 medium chopped onion A lot of garlic powder lemon juice Salsa Bravo to taste Salt 2 tomatoes chopped Mix above together (use blender for a smoother dip). Spread out on a large tray. Layer the following ingredients: chopped lettuce, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions. Serve with chips.

Evening includes silent auction, live jazz, sample wines from around the world, locally microbrewed beer and favorite food samplings from Eastside restaurants. At the Hiway Federal Credit Union, 840 Westminster St., St. Paul. From 5:00—8:00 p.m. $25.00/person. Tickets available at Furlong’s Liquor. (This is a really fun event!! Hope to see you!!) Sunday, October 2nd—Bus trip to the Leinenkugel’s Brewery in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Sign-up at Furlong’s Liquor. $10.00/person (includes lunch and beer on the bus). Bus departs Furlong’s Liquor at 10:00 a.m.—returns at 4:00 p.m. Let’s go!!!!!! Thursday, October 6th—Beer Tasting at Oak Marsh. Proceeds go to Co-Action, the Education Foundation scholarships for High School Grads. 6:00—8:00 p.m. $20.00/person-available at the door. Saturday, February 11, 2006. Wine Tasting at St. Peter’s in North St. Paul. More details to follow.
