4 eggs, beaten 1 cup milk 1/8 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 lb hot Italian sausage 1/2 lb mild Italian sausage 1/2 lb shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1/2 onion—chopped Fresh mushrooms sliced Pillsbury pie crust (pre-made—just unfold it) Brown sausage, onion and mushrooms. Drain. Combine eggs, milk, pepper, salt and cheese. Mix well. Stir in the sausage, onion and mushrooms. Pour into the pie crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 50—60 minutes. Goes great with the Late Harvest White Riesling (featured this month) and some fresh fruit or apple crisp. |
